But holding the line is only the beginning. You’ll need to manage scarce resources, reinforce defenses, and keep your camp alive as chaos intensifies with each passing day.
Use high-tech tools to uncover signs of infection among the terrified survivors. Identify contraband, forbidden items, and even rare collectables as you work to keep your checkpoint secure.
Send those with suspicious symptoms to quarantine for observation, to the lab for additional screening, or save healthy survivors by sending them to the living block. Those who are confirmed infected, however, will not be given a second chance.
As the survivor population grows, you’ll be responsible for supplying power, food, and medicine. When alarms sound, take control of armed drones to prevent the infected from breaching the compound.
The better you manage your expanding base, the more resources, tools, and weapon upgrades you will unlock.
When a quarantined survivor turns into an undead predator, the situation is not entirely lost. Keep newly turned zombies contained to harvest samples and prepare research materials.
These sacrifices grant access to new tools, staff experience, and long-term upgrades. Survivors with unknown symptoms can also be analyzed, though such tests are always fatal.
