Hidden Deep is an indie 2D action & exploration sci-fi thriller that is set in an abandoned mining and research facility – more than a mile deep under the ocean floor.
A group of researchers has detected strange anomalies of unknown nature and then organized an expedition to examine this mysterious and unexplainable phenomenon. All of a sudden, after 681 days, contact with the researchers breaks off. You are the leader of the second team that needs to go search of the missing and possibly save them: Go down into the unknown, find out what happened, rescue anybody who is still alive, if any survivors are still roaming the facility.
COMMAND YOUR TEAM – OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT – FACE UNEXPLAINABLE HORRORS
Control all of your team members directly or by giving them different orders. Accomplish your mission objectives by coordinating together on different tasks. Explore the mysterious sub oceanic caves by using specialized gear: grappling hooks, scanners, drones and heavy machinery are all an integral part of your arsenal and preparation.
Defend yourself against the horrific life forms you encounter and other environmental threats on your way, there are plenty of undiscovered horrors that lurk in the deep tunnels and danger could come from any direction in this unforgiving place. Make sure to navigate through the facility and passage system carefully enough though, as sometimes things are not as they seem.
Would you be able to resolve the necessary issues and manage to find the missing team or keep your team intact? This is yet to be discovered once you leave the elevator with your team and heavy machinery tech.
Hidden Deep offers both a story mode with narrative-driven levels and a challenge mode where you can tackle on various mission goals in randomized levels, either alone or in co-op.
