Loyalty Program Terms & Conditions

1. General Provisions

These Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions govern the Yuplay Loyalty Program, as well as the virtual Yuplay Experience Points (hereinafter referred to YXP). The Yuplay LOyalty Program and YXP are subject to these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, as well as the Yuplay Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference.

Every User of Yuplay, who has registered at our site is entitled to participate in the Yuplay Loyalty Program, as long as the User participation is not terminated due to the stipulations under Article 5 of these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

Since these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions are an integral part of Yuplay Terms and Conditions, the User agrees with the content of these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms by registering an account with Yuplay.

All terms not defined in these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions have the meaning set out in the Yuplay Terms and Conditions.

2. What Are YXP?

YXP are virtual YUPLAY Experience Points, which may be earned by YUPLAY Users for making purchases on the Yuplay site, completing challenges and in any other way, as displayed on the Yuplay site.

Whenever you make a purchase on YUPLAY, you will earn YXP in accordance with the following formula:

8.00 EUR spent = 100 YXP

*This refers to the actual amount spent on YUPLAY site (excluding payment fees, bank fees and any other fees incurred on top of the purchasing price) after the application of eventual discount codes at checkout.

If you make purchases in a currency other than EUR, you will earn the YXP equivalent to your local currency in accordance with the currency exchange rate at the moment of the purchase. YUPLAY reserves the right to exclude some purchases from granting YXP in certain cases. 

You may also earn YXP by completing certain challenges set out on the Yuplay site like registering an account with YUPLAY, subscribing to our newsletter, leaving reviews, adding games to your wishlist and many more. Please note that not all ways to earn YXP may be available at the launch of the Yuplay Loyalty Program. YUPLAY reserves the right to offer additional ways to earn YXP at any time.

Note: In case the customer gets a refund of an order they have already received YXP for, these YXP will be deducted from their YXP balance.

3. What Are YXP Used for?

The only way to benefit from your YXP is by reaching certain levels of YXP, which entitle you to achieve a certain tier in the Yuplay Loyalty Program (Rookie, Bronze, Silver and Gold), which gives you various types of Rewards that are set out on the YUPLAY site (the higher the tier, the bigger the Rewards). These rewards cannot be exchanged or returned and YUPLAY is not responsible in case you already own the same product that you receive as a reward.

Please note that not all Rewards may be available at the launch of the YUPLAY Loyalty Program and may be enabled later, subject to the sole discretion of YUPLAY. 

YUPLAY reserves the right to modify the list of Rewards at any time, without any prior notice. 

4. Limitations

YXP is not real money and does not earn interest. YXP is not transferable and cannot be sold. The only way to benefit from your YXP is described in Article 3 above. 

YUPLAY reserves the right to limit any User’s ability to participate in the Yuplay Loyalty Program and earn YXP, including, but not limited to cases where Yuplay reasonably believes that the User is a business entity or an individual making purchases on the Yuplay site for commercial purposes (e.g. reseller, etc.).

5. Changes and Personal Data

YUPLAY has the right to modify these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions at any time by setting out these changes on the YUPLAY site.

YUPLAY is entitled to terminate User’s participation in the Yuplay Loyalty Program and/or remove any amount of accumulated YXP from a User with immediate effect if: (a) the User abuses the Yuplay Loyalty Program or causes any harm or detriment to YUPLAY or other Users; (b) YUPLAY has reasonable belief of fraudulent acts by the User when using or earning YXP, or (c) the User fails to comply with the obligations arising from these Yuplay Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, Yuplay Terms and Conditions or applicable laws.

We will collect personal information from you related to your participation in the YUPLAY Loyalty Program, including the ways you earn YXP, complete various challenges offered by YUPLAY and other similar information related to your participation in the YUPLAY Loyalty Program.

YUPLAY processes the above personal data in order to enable you to use the benefits of the YUPLAY Loyalty Program and show the status of your earned YXP.
