Gunbird Characters Go Wild!

A new sensation, the ‘Block-Breaking Shooter’ — combining the fun of block-breaking and shooting games — is here! Simple controls make it enjoyable for everyone, from kids to adults.

Controls

• 8‑way lever: Controls the left/right movement of your ship (flipper) and the paddle you use to hit balls back.
• Button: Opens and closes the flipper to hit back balls and enemy shots.

Objective and Game Over Conditions

Objective: Skillfully control the ball hit back by the flipper to destroy all blocks on the screen within the time limit.

Game Over conditions: You lose one life if your pink ball falls off the bottom of the screen or if you fail to destroy all blocks within the time limit.

Blocks & Enemies

• Blockon: Destroys after one hit.
• Big Blockon: Splits into smaller pieces after one hit.
• Crystal Block: Requires two hits to destroy.
• Gold Block: Indestructible block.

Starting from World 2, the game introduces enemy grunts and bosses that fire bullets and lasers. Enemy projectiles can be bounced back with your flipper. However, if your ship (character) touches an enemy projectile that explodes at the bottom of the screen, you’ll be stunned and unable to move for a set period.

Mooks and bosses can be defeated by hitting them with the pack (ball) or with bounced enemy projectiles — just like breaking blocks.

Items and Scoring

Each world contains numerous bonus items and hidden bonuses. Hitting the pack against bonus items increases your score, rewarding sharp aim and strategic play.

Story: Four Years Before Gunbird

The game takes place about four years before the events of Gunbird. It’s the story of Marion while she was still attending the wizards’ school. After grueling training, she’s finally ready to earn her full wizard’s license — but to do so, she must meet the legendary wizard Merlin. Navigating various obstacles along the way, she sets her sights on Onion Mountain, where Merlin resides.

Little Magical Girl — Marion (MARION)
Age: 9
A magical girl attending the wizards’ school, “Wonder School.” To earn her Grand Wizard certification, she sets off on her certification adventure with her rabbit butler, “PomPom.”

Flying Pirate Boy — GRUTAN
Age: 9
A pirate boy attending the same “Wonder School” as Marion. He also sets off on an adventure to earn his Grand Wizard license, accompanied by his pet parrot, “GimGim”.

Beautiful Witch — MAJORIA
Age: 27
A witch who teaches in the Magic Department at Wonder School. She supports the journey to “Onion Mountain,” the location of the graduation exam. Between worlds, she provides operation instructions for “Flipper” and “Pack.”

Grand Wizard (Old Man) — Marlon (Merlin)
A legendary wizard residing in the ancient castle on “Onion Mountain.” He stands at the pinnacle of wizards worldwide, mastering every conceivable spell. Only those who have earned the title of Grand Wizard may meet him.

To activate the game, you need a Steam Account

• Login or register at the official
  Steam Website and download Steam client
• Install and start application, login with your Account name and Password
• Click the Games Menu.
• Choose Activate a Product on Steam...
• Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process
• After the successful code verification, go to the "MY GAMES" tab and start downloading.
