The very popular Far Cry series by Ubisoft has always been surrounded by lots of attention due to its brutal scenarios and many times controversial topics that the plotlines often revolve around. His story is also not an easy one as when he was a teen, Antón was sentenced to serve more than ten years of hard labor work in Yara's tobacco fields, which is one of the main industries the country has to offer, and he only took over the country after its harsh economic collapse had already happened. He needed to manage things with a tight grip and not allow insubordination, but it is not a very easy task to complete when things are only getting worse and worse each day.
All of this while he is raising his young and still quite innocent son, Diego, who is bound to one day become el Presidente too, thus his destiny is forged to follow in his father’s bloody footsteps. Their oppressive rule has ignited a revolution among the population of their country and in order to control it effectively, there are many lessons to be learned by the boy. His father aims to harden him and build the best possible next leader for the country, even if it means directly showing him what true violence is.
Even though fans had been missing the tropical setting and the stories in Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5 revolved in other regions of the world, the Far Cry 6 Uplay key brings us back to the already aesthetically familiar from earlier titles environments and feels like it is going back to its original roots, soothing the desire of the gamers. What’s more interesting is that you are free to select the gender of the character to either male (Daniel) or female (Daniella), which would mainly change the looks of the avatar, but would keep the background story details and personal qualities that Dani has – this is something absolutely new to the series and a nice touch on Ubisoft’s side to make the game more inclusive.
