As you develop your gear more and more over time you would be able to adjust your weapons with additional modules that can enhance your firepower and allow you to manage with the different types of enemy alien creatures, wildlife, cyborgs or robot drones that are seeking to diminish you.

While some ammo would work on most types of opponents, there would still be those that are able to deflect or completely neutralize certain types of bullets, so perhaps you would have to count on some grenades to do the work or you should have the ability to diversify your guns’ modifications enough in order to combat effectively with a wider range of threats and change your guns and add-ons properly on the go.

What’s more is the ability to protect yourself in more dangerous situations by using your shield or area modifying tech that would for example enact a slowdown of the speed and time or freeze nearby enemies making them easier to avoid or handle.
